Oriador Rota v1.0.6 Released

I've just uploaded the latest version of Oriador Rota. Aside from the usual tweaks and fixes, the following new features have been added:-

  • The new rota options now has an Include All Staff option. Unchecking this option allows you to create a rota without any staff, then add them from a popup list of available staff and groups. When you add staff, you can choose whether or not you want to use their fixed patterns. This is useful if you have a very large staff list, or if you want to do what-if experiments.
  • You can now change the length of rotas via the Rota Properties.
  • You can now create rotas without using the staff shift patterns. This is useful when you're just getting started, as you can use the completely blank rota to build up your shift patterns together, then use the Data->Create Shift Patterns from Rota option to save the contents of the rota to your staff shift patterns. This should be easier than setting up patterns individually via the staff details.
  • The web export can now be split by staff group.
  • Comments you add to the rota can now be printed on the rota reports (activate via preferences).
  • Staff Availability report can be used to search for suitable staff, by date and by role.
The Staff Availability Search window is similar to the report, but it can also be used to quickly allocate the staff to the role.
  • A date formatting option was added.
  • 12 hour clock time formatting is now supported.
  • Report font size options were added.
  • New menu options were added to the Print Preview form to give more control over printing.
  • A new progress bar was added during some time consuming actions.
  • Added an Hourly Rota by Role report.
  • When the Active Timeline option is active, you can now click and drag to create new time periods in all rota cells, even "not working" ones.
  • Added a shortcut key ("c") to open the comments window for the selected cell.
